My new 997 TT
Hi guys I'm brand new to this forum and wanted to say "howdy" and post some pics of my new TT. I have always been a big car fanatic since I can remember. Started of with mustangs to lamborghini and everything in between. I have always been partial to amg's hence my name. I'll tell you what though, the new 997 TT is an amazing car. It has all of the creature comforts of a luxury car and the stealth mode of a super car. When I read on numerous articles the specs, stats, etc of it I had to get one without even test driving one. It is almost the deal of the decade. What else can you ask for.
Mine is: Atlas metallic gray (I just love this color), stone gray interior, Tiptronic (A must in the horrible Houston traffic), Sport Chrono, and a list of other options....
Here are some pics so far I hope you enjoy!

Tex,
Congrats - beautiful car!
Goes well with your 750 Li too . In the pictures the Atlas Grey looks a little like Midnight Blue but I've seen it several times. A very striking color that shows off the 997 Turbo curves very well. I thought of it as a Pearl Black. I was surprised it didn't cost extra.

Congratulations, the car is awesome. I also lovethe driveway. I too love AMG's, but have a 2004 S600. I am going to wait until the 997TT S comes out. Should be late 2007.

How comfortable is your 997tt on a long distance highway cruise compared to your 750Li? I read some reviews that said the 997tt has a lot of wind and tire noise above 70mph. What is your experience like?

Thanks for the warm welcome. Anyone in the Houston area? I would like to meet some other Porsche owners. The ride in the 750 is like a limousine its not very fair to compare it to the TT. For a sports car of this class the ride is awesome. The seats are comfortable and the car feels telepathic. It makes me want to whip in and out of traffic for some reason. I traded in my SL55 for this car and have no regrets whatsoever, except for the convertible factor. Maybe when the cabriolet comes out for the TT I'll trade it in??? I love the fact that I can drive it anywhere and not worry too much like the gallardo, which I had to give forethought. When you give the TT some gas the exhaust and engine sounds incredible its almost scary.
Btw here are some pics of my most recents vehicles...I have the wheels for the gallardo and CLS55 for sale if anyone is interested let me know.
I'll post some more pics soon have to get ready for the move....

I gotta wonder what a fella does (that looks that young and has that many absolutely radical rides) for a living.
Way too cool though. Congrats!
