Auto Gallery Launch Turbo 40K over Window!
My son and I went to see it in Woodland Hills, CA (Los Angeles area). We liked it, but not at 40K over window! Black on Black, nice car.
Sorry no photos, but I thought that mentioning the car was 40K over window was worth sharing.
Oh, one more thing, they told me they were willing to negotiate a little.
Another excellent Porsche value.

This is exactly why my wife and I have the car being shipped in from 2000 miles away from a NON-KARLIFORNIA dealership. I bought my car from fair people who are happy to make a $142K sale at the window price. As if MSRP isn't fair enough.
The greed at many (not all) of the dealers in SOCAL is ridiculous. It is contemptful to ask so much over window and only serves to polarize the buying community.
It's really obnoxious when they have the nerve to tell you that they will take a little less. Please do me favors.
I am sure PCNA doesn't really appreciate it either.

What an A-hole!
I'm sure some rich guy will buy it just to be the first on the block with one.
The dealership in Newport Beach does not mark up over MSRP. So I've been told by the sales man.
I guess we'll see.

Newport Porsche is fine, and they do sell at MSRP. I have spoken with them before.
We went out of state on this car because we were able to get the exact car we wanted now, rather than waiting 4-6 months to order it.
June 24th is the first day we can have it. It is at the dealer now, however PCNA won't let the dealers deliver the cars to the new owners yet until the "official" release date.
Needless to say, we're very excited!

right on!
Post your pics as soon as you get it home. I think the hardest thing about getting a new spoprts car is going to have to keep the RPM's below 4K for the first 2K miles. But I'm sure you'll have fun just cruzin it around having the envy of evryone as you drive down the street.

I spoke to one of the Autogallery owners today about the $40K over price. He told me , His words", the car was sold to a very very good friend of the dealership before the car arrived who then decided to flip the car. He wanted The Autogallery to consign the car at $40K over and he andthe dealership would split the $40K profit."

is it "legal" for dealers to ask this much over list? Damn, I would consider seiiling mine for $40k over list if someone was crazy enough to pay that and pick up a new one by the end of the year.
