Default True color samples

I'm new to the Porsche world and put a deposit on a 997 turbo. I printed out the colors from the web. Slate Grey Metallic looks brown and Meteor Grey metallic looks gold. I want a dark grey/silver metallic. Which color is that? I'd like to see the actual colors. Any suggestions? thanks

I would get the new 911 Turbo book from your dealer. It has a paint color chart inside.

Better than the one inch color samples in the brochure, the dealer should by now have samples to show you. They are on paper sheets, about 8 X 10 inches and are true. I looked at them and compared them to actual cars on the lot, when I was in to order my car last week.

You are right, the slate gray has brown. The Meteor (which I chose) is just slightly darker than the current seal gray but has no gold at least to my eyes! GT silver is just slightly darker than arctic silver. Check em out yourself so you can see what you are getting.

Good luck and have fun!

The dealer near me still did not have the large Meteor Gray sheet. But from what I have seen it looks great. I am still favoring Cobalt Blue.
