Who will be buying the 997tt?
Newcomers to Porsche altogether?
Porsche enthusiasts who have owned several in the past?
Exotic car owners looking for an equally performing, reliable, value?
Does the 997 appeal to the 996 crowd much more than the 993 folks?

I have owned 5 Porsches since 1977. My last 2 were an 96 Arena Red 993TT, which I still wish I had and a 2001 996TT Arctic Silver (did they even come in any other color?). I liked the 993TT better, it just felt like a Porsche.
I have a 997TT on order as well as the GT3. I have a feeling I may prefer the GT3, but I will wait until I see the 997TT in person.
I think it will be a "all of the above" answer as to who will be buying the 997TT.
