Ordering an RT12...

how much lighter is the lightweight glass? i imagine negligible improvement?
and what carbon brakes are you putting on your car? the 380mm PCCB's from the 997 Turbo aren't available yet for the RT12. so you went for the 350mm PCCB gen2's i guess?
thanks

I have the gen 2’s and they feel confident when you depress the pedal.

WOW
I drove an RT12 at RUF in Germany this afternoon on the back roads around the factory and I am amazed at how effortless it is to go very very fast in. I was going an indicated 270 kph with no fuss, the car was smooth quiet and asking for more. Traffic dictated I let off.
Unfortunaltely my CTR2 is not quite ready or I could of had a back to back experience to share. I know that there is no comparison however, as mine is the bump steering power house of yesterday and the RT-12 is 10 year newer technology, still it would have been fun to take the two of them out together.
The RT12 is a car you could give to your other half to get their groceries in and they would not complain about stiff clutches or shifter or power delivery. This car doesn't require much effort. The shifter is short and butter smooth, the power delivery seamless.
Again accolades to the RUF team for doing such a good job, makes me proud as a RUF owner.
Cheers

Yes you can get the RT-12 in AWD, I drove the 2 WD version.
I drive the KTM from my house onto the highway. I then join my friends and we go into the woods. The woods are plentiful in norhtern Ontario where I live. We have old abandoned railway clearings, hydro lines, pipeline clearings and many other great places to go on our bikes.
