Default Multiple deposits?

Anyone think it's a good idea to put a deposit down at more than one dealer? I've got one in at my preferred dealer but I'm not sure where I am on their list and then another dealer contacted me and they only have a couple of deposits so far so I would be pretty high up there.

I agree. Plus, it seems like with new GT3's, Cayman, etc. that there may not be too much demand for any one particular model.
