Default Ordering a new 997 TT

I'm likely to put an order through for the new 997 TT. I do know that the wait is likely 1 yr and that fine with me.

I'm not sure of the process of ordering a car not produced yet. Is there any pitfall to avoid ? Can the price be negociated ? What is the realistic delivery time Vs what the dealer tells me ?

Any tips or input into the process is appreaciated.

I ordered a TT , well I should say put a deposit on it around 5 months agao, I did however just pick the options and colors. There is no way ANY one will get a discount on the car..yet anyways. I was told that my car should be in anywhere from Aug --- Oct..So all said and done by the time i will get the car, it would have been around a year wait in total. To order the car go to your local P-car dealer with $10,000.00 and tell him what options you want and get an invoice for it...thats about all you can do.
