Interesting huh?
I know when the 4 and 4S made their debut in Monaco they had Walter R driving all of the journalists up and down the hills in the same car.

Even more interesting was the fact Rohrl was driving a standard 911 3.6 Carrera4, and NOT a 4S.....

Yes I saw those, the car sounds awsome, esp the new electronically controlled hydraulic clutch mechanism in the awd and the 'sport chrono plus' option that bumps the boost up to 17.4psi when activated.
Think I'll get me one.

The state of US-based car mags is pathetic. They're bankrupt and the Internet is rendering them irrelevant. The writing is boring and predictable, with articles seemingly spending more and more time on stuff like interior trim pieces rather than assessing true driving dynamics and characteristics. I've cancelled all my subscriptions and ordered one of the Brit magazines. At least the writing is entertaining.

Which Brit publication did you order?

How about a link?

Thanks.

Brit Mags:
Car
Evo
Autocar.
They are all great.
Don't even bother with US rags anymore, they all read like corporate literature.

I agree with RR, all the British books are great, compared to the US rags. I ordered Car as it's the one I always pick up when I am in the UK. It ain't cheap, either, at around $100 USD. Go here: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/
