Default gt2rs style intercooler ducts

Anyone make good quality gt2rs intercooler side ducts?
I tried the 2 main brands off ebay and they are both mediocre and require adhesive to attach.

I saw the wicked motors ones but not gonna pay $3k for carbon when im gonna paint match them. Is there anything else out there?

I almost thought about cutting the blade out of an oem set and molding them, anyone done this?

Already tried Stone Carbon and Faithful Rainbow, the 2 big asian options, both equally mediocre.
Other options are:
Knight Racer, DB Carbon, and Wicked Motors.

It would be cool to try to make your own pair with a 3D printer.

Those are just Moshammer ram inlets. They have no attachment points, and use adhesive to bond in place.
The OEM ones attach like the turbo ducts as far as I have seen and clip into the factory duct housing.

Rennline promised carbon 997.2 turbo ducts like a year ago, they haven't materialized yet nor did they say if they were going to be GT2RS style or regular turbo style. Just an option depending on how long you are willing to wait.

That would be cool, I expect rennline to put out a good product at least. If we had a solid timeframe I would totally wait but I am always in a rush

Bump to see if anyone here has touched the C3 carbon vents CMS sells.
https://competitionmotorsport.com/pr...r-side-intakes

Going to contact them to see if these install like OEM or use adhesive.

Eh, Those look like the same generic ducts you can find on ebay or aliexpress with a fancy description...
If they could send you pics of the "billet aluminum molds" that would change my mind.

Yeah I agree, I emailed them and they said they fit like "OEM" but I asked for clarification. I dont think they understood my question.
Benefit of the doubt.... and all.
I wish the OEM carbon ducts werent almost $6k.

Have been eyeing these. After some searching, I have found these were the only ones I found that seems to have mounting tabs. I used to work with the aftermarket car industry, a lot of carbon fiber parts comes from the same supplier. If you see a product that has a lot of other brands, most likely is made in one location and rebranded.
