Disabling TPMS
From what we know, disabling this system on a road use car is against federal law in the US.

I had 2 of the OEM ones not communicating with the car and figured it would happen to the other 2 in short order so I did all 4 at the same time.. I don't know, but I would assume it shouldn't be a problem to mix and match tho, the car is looking for a signal at each corner and I don't think the system is sophisticated enough to distinguish if its OEM or non-OEM..
I'm currently in the same situation, and am really not sure why I don't just swap out the sensors. I don't think there's anything special about the sensors, lots of places suggest that generic 433MHz ones will work.
These tires may be too low profile to just break the bead and swap in new sensors, but even so, just popping off the back bead should be enough.

I ended up scheduling an appointment next week to replace all four sensors at this place near my office that specializes in exotic car service. None of the other shops I called gave me confidence in their ability to do the work without gouging the crap out of my wheels, and Porsche wants $600 per wheel. I was quoted between $80 to $100 per sensor and 1 1/2 hrs in labor for all four wheels and reprogramming…way cheaper than Porsche. I know they’re not OEM sensors, but as long as they work. I wish I had the equipment to do it all myself, but my garage is only so big.
A quick google search yields $140 for all four (Huff brand) at TPMS.com. A little over a year ago I purchased a set of 4 from amazon for $200 total. I had them installed when I put new tires on. I provided the the sensors and they swapped them out no charge while mounting the tires. They linked up to the car in the first few miles of driving.
