Default First DYI Oil Change -So Easy It’s Ridiculous

I cannot believe how easy it is to do an oil and filter change on these cars. I did my first one yesterday. The advice/instructions on this forum and the YouTube video demonstrations made it simple. I had to purchase ramps to elevate the car a few inches, a couple of tools, low profile drain pan, and a scanner but well worth it compared to the $350+ the dealer was charging. If my arms were a little longer I could have done it without the ramps. I’ve had the car since 2011 so this it’s 13th oil change. Thanks to all those who posted or did videos.

I forgot to mention that it took more time figuring out how to use the Foxwell NT 510 scanner to reset the oil service reminder. I would not recommend it.
