Default Tips for aligning front lip

Just like everybody, the front lip on my car has seen plenty of bangs and bruises. I always have a spare ready to go, but now the alignment and fit is getting harder because the slots on the car are getting slightly deformed from so much wear over the years. Has anybody found a way to hold the lip in place in the loose areas? Specifically, right in front of both tires is a hard spot to align. I'm thinking of just using a little epoxy to hold it in place until the next replacement. Has anybody else had success with holding these in place?

Lay the lip in the hot sun before you try to put it on.

Trying to recall - Is there not a fastener in the wheel well? That should pin that corner

Yes. Shouldn’t there be a screw at the very end of the lip? That is what I recall as well.

There is 100% a screw at each end. What I found helped was to start from one end, securing it properly, loosely position the lip across the front of the car and secure the other end, before pressing the rest of the lip in.

Ok, good info. I'll have to check for the screw, I may just be missing it from all the times it's been on and off, or maybe my aftermarket lip doesn't have the screw hole so I didn't notice.

Actually, come to think of it, the last lip I had was ripped off in a slight off-road adventure I took at 110 mph into the infield of the keyhole at mid--ohio. Lol. That may be where the screw is. Time to look a little closer I guess.
