Having seen @powdrhound ‘s test results, both HP and sound-wise, I am pretty convinced to go straight pipes with Helmholtz tubes. I really hope it works out as I’ll be chopping up my SpeedTech exhaust to do it. 😬

I have bigger turbos on order with @Kevin , as soon as they arrive (couple weeks 🤞🏼 ), I’ll be installing the new exhaust and report back on how it sounds. I am speaking to Josh (jhutch) about something like the attached images:

Although sound in videos is a bit deceptive and highly subjective, here is what the straight pipes with the 1/4 wave resonators sounds like for those that wanna go down this path. I would say this is a pretty good representation. Keep in mind there is no interior whatsoever in this car, it's just a metal tub which will sound a bit different than a street car with carpeting and insulation lining the interior. Still not sure I would run straight pipes on a street car.

I've got a set of straight pipes for a 997.1 that I would let go cheap. Message me if interested and I'll dig up some pics.

The made lots of cool whistling noises but were not suitable for a daily driver.

No cats. You can literally see the hot side wheel if you look up the pipe.

See below.
