Vibration on the first 10% of clutch travel (dead spot)
Hello everyone, needed your help regarding a new vibration that came out from my clutch pedal on my 16,000 mile 07 Turbo.
After doing the boss repair with CMS, I replaced the clutch fork, seals and bearing from the gearbox and after a 1000 miles my clutch pedal went all thru the travel with no pressure. Replaced the slave master cylinder and after that the pressure went back to normal but a strong vibration appeared on the clutch pedal in the dead spot (10% of travel) just before the clutch engagement. You could feel just by resting your foot on the pedal, we proceeded to replacing the accumulator and the vibration was reduced by maybe 80%.
Have anyone had the same issue? I couldn’t feel it before the slave cylinder went bad, is it normal ?
thank you

My only experience with clutch pedal vibration was on an Audi. There it was a leaky slave, which I think you have addressed. The only other thing I have read is throw out bearing being an issue.
