Ok, I am going to confirm dumbness and confusion and I’ve owned all measure of Porsches since 1976.

2010 997.2 turbo. I take it that the lower round lights that would have been fog lights on earlier 911’s are the DRLs? What are the horizontal strip of LEDs? They are DRLs on my Panamera. They turn into DRLs when headlights are on? Is there a fog light? The turn signal is the amber bulb in the strip.

and this is different from my 997.1 C2S?

As for the switch, what is home?

I could have details off but home position leaves lights on for like 60 seconds when you turn the car off and turns them on for a little when you unlock the car. Basically giving you some light when you are walking away from or to your car.
