Default Project update with pics

I've had the guards red 997TT for 3 months now, and just about have it ready for the driving season. I started the work in earnest in mid Feb, a lot of downtime waiting for parts, basically working nights and weekends whenever I had time. From the PPI I knew it had a front end cooling leak, instead of having the owner fix it, I took the discount and decided to DIY, so that was the major portion of this initial project. The PS radiator was leaking, and the center rad was dented in the center probably from some sort of road debris.

So far I've completed:

Oil change
Brake fluid flush
Fuel filter
Engine mounts
Air filter
Cabin air filter

Front end cooling system: all hoses, radiators, condensers
Coolant flush

Swapped out the 20" aftermarket wheels for a set of BBS Carrera classics, refinished, ceramic coated
Michelin PS4S

GT2 side skirts
Painted front/rear lips

Black floor mats

I also cleaned the heck out of the wheel wells, plastic liners, arches and so on.

Pics are more or less in chronological order. I've got a few more fluids to swap out, and I am going to get rid of the Turbo S upbadging on the trunk and the door sills. Then next winter probably drop the engine and do the coolant lines, hoses, camshafts etc etc etc.

Enjoy!

Yep agreed. Love the factory 5 spoke look, even if I am mixing Carrera and Turbo

Really like the wheels. Never been a fan of the .1 turbo wheels. I think they look too busy. Are those the same size as the OEM .1 turbo wheels?

Yep they are the widebody offset from a 997 C4S. I have a set of 7/15mm spacers on order to help flush them out a bit.
