Default Boost build up

Is this normal boost build up for a stock car?
People always mention 1 and 1.2 bar in over boost but is that peak? Does it peak and drop off or does it hold that boost through the RPM range.

1.1-1.2 with overboost. Normal is 1bar normal mode. Pressure test for leaks and check the IC end tanks. If VNT's are starting to seize up then will get funky boost readings.

Are OEM dash/gauge readings theoretical or actual?

Meaning are they reflective of what’s the actual boost is or does it display what the OEM ECU is commanding?
