Default Vendors that actuall stock Bilstein struts? Need front/left B8+PASM

This is a long shot but I figured I'd give it a go...

Does anyone know of any vendors that actually stock Bilstein B8 struts? Spedifically, I need 35-135845 - B8 w/Damptronic front left for 997.1 Carrerra C4 / Turbo.

The rears are in-stock in a number of places, and I somehow got the front/right, and I just need the front-left.

After 75K miles, 35K of which have been on GMG lowering springs, the crappy roads here in South Beach have killed my struts (and yes, I'm also going to replace my front strut mounts+bearings and rear strut mounts).

Most vendors like to list them online as "in stock" and will let you pay for them right away, meanwhile they're really not in stock, but on global backorder where you'll wait until December (or possibly 2023!) for them. Quite a disengenuous practice.

I even went to purchase one from a vendor on eBay that listed them as in-stock and ready to ship in Germany (for 2x+ the price of a US-based order), but sure enough... this is just a drop-ship item and it was a completely false and misleading listing

For now I am going to install the three struts + strut mounts I have and just take it easy with the car until I get the fourth, mainly driving my M3 and motorcycle until I get the last one in.

What were the signs they are bad? Mine is a lowered as well and we have some crappy roads in Los Angeles. I’m thinking maybe they are getting there

Constantly squeaking rear strut, jarring feel of impacts to the car going over any bumps due to lack of any shock absorption, loud clanking coming from corners going over bumps (work shock mounts), lack of feel in stability at speed.

At 72K miles all the signs are there.

Self-quote ftw:

I knew this was too good to be true. Shipping date was just updated to November 21st (basically I wouldn't have it until December). I'm not interested in giving $500 loans for parts I won't have for months on end, so I will cancel and wait until November/December to see if Bilstein is ready to ship the final shock I need.

I actually submited two contact requests to Bilstein to ask if they could share a list of vendors that they have in their system might have these in-stock -- zero replies whatsoever, not even a "no".

Just curious, did you ever end up getting them?

It's now February and none of the places that stated they'd get them in late last year actually got them.
