MAF (MAP) not reading? Anyone with a durametric...MAF log at idle please
I’m still trying to track down my two engine codes of P1072 and P0068. I feel pretty confident that there’s no leaks and I’ve tested all the one way check valves and all are operating fine.
I probably should have done this earlier but tonight I decided to data log my MAF (MAP) sensors and think I might have found an anomaly (or two) but wanted to see what other logs look like. In particular MAF sensor 1 doesn’t look like it’s reading 99.9% of the time and when it does it’s very brief. Also, the top MAF portion I logged did move at all. Going back to the fault code pulled on the durametric this seems to make sense as it’s telling me P1072 is “no signal/communication” and P0068 is “value below lower limit value”.
I’m guessing MAF sensor 1 is the one located before the throttle body?
Any ideas out there?
Tried to attach the video but the site wouldn’t let me. I’ll keep on trying.

Hello,
I have a quite similar problem on my 2010 TT. The CEL cames up, error code P0172, car was running absolutely properly, clean it with an obd reader, drove the car for various times/distances, and suddenly it cames back...
Have you finally solved the issue?
regards
jeko

Unfortunately it seems to need a new DME. I had it diagnosed at my local dealer and that’s what they have narrowed it down to. I ordered the new computer but ended up having to execute a military move before the part came in.
I still have another 18 months before I’m back at home and can get to the dealer for the DME install. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue.
