Default Best performance PCCB pads?

Hey guys!

Been going through many posts, and it seems as if most people are looking for cheapest (price wise) alternatives. I replaced preventively my PCCB pads about 3 yrs ago with OE pads and if I'm honest, quite disappointed in terms of cold performance, and even when warmed up on the very few track days I did.

Does anyone has good recommendation on pad brands/models to increase cold grip/performance while also great on track (won't be tracked every weekend so not worried about killing the rotors).

Thanks everyone!

So there are obviously a few different options for brake pads, ceramic being the preferred material, but what other factors are important? What is the best pad for overall longevity? What about for performance (fast, hard stops)? What about rotors? snaptube vidmate Slotted over regular?

After two days at Road America, my PCCB brakes are squealing loudly. Any ideas why?

I did wash the car and wheels after the track event. You mean remove the wheels and wash the rotors?

i normally have a spray bottle of car wash soap/water mixture or foam canon and let them soak for a couple minutes. The squeak only goes away for a bit or until I break hard again

I've only had this a couple times when I drove through a puddle with dirt and small pebbles.

Took it to a DIY wash and sprayed the rotors. Then moved the car forward a half turn and did the rotor part that was hidden by the caliper the first pass.
