Has anyone successfully retrofitted LED reverse lights? I pulled mine off today to take a look. I tried to pull off the gray plug circles in red but it was pretty stuck. That was my best guess for what would be holding the reverse bulb.

You might have to twist it hard, but it will just unscrew. At least mine did. Lefty-loosey.
After trying numerous LEDs, many either didn’t physically fit or caused bulb-out errors, until I found deAutoLED. They appear to be VW/Audi people, and ensured me their 1156/P21W bulbs will work and they did! I did mine about a 2 years ago and they’re still working well today, and look nice modern & crisp. They’re also noticeably brighter than OEM which is a nice benefit.
