Default Instant loss of Boost

Has this happened to anyone? The connection shown here at the intake plenum just blew off. Instant loss of boost. I was able to to get it all back together and the clamps tighten down. Just scared the crap out of me. Name: photo134.jpg

Yes! It happened to me twice. When I looked into it the part has been updated to include two sets of tabs. The original part on the right only has one set of tabs and one of the tabs tore off when the hose blew off with great prejudice. I am sure we are not the first to have this happen!
Old part number: 997.110.647.72
New revised part number 997.110.647.74

The sound was big when it popped, but I had a idea what it could be. So glad it was fixable. I should take it in and have all the connections checked. I'm approaching 60k miles.

Common problem. Several threads on this. Mainly a leak point, not necessarily popping off completely.

Glad to know it's a common problem, but new to me. I really appreciate the response that addressed my problem specifically as that was my hope instead of searching through a few thousand threads.
