Which Battery? H7 or H8

Yeah it’s heavy, especially when you have two bulging discs. The only way I could do it without blowing out my back was to undo the cables, vent tube and retaining clip and then stand in the frunk and lift the battery out and place it in the frunk and then get out and then lift it out.

I just put in the H6 40ah Antigravity battery in my TTS. Super easy swap other than lifting the heavy lead acid battery out. I also hopped in the frunk to make it easier. With the H6 I had to slide the battery clamp one spot over but it fit perfectly after that.
I was on the fence about spending the money but I like how light it is, I like the remote jump capability and if it lasts 3x longer as advertised, it should be close to a wash.

For a "frunk situation" I keep a Li-ion jump starter in the cabin. The battery weighs about 2 pounds and slides under the driver seat.

Highly recommend a CTEK charger, and the extension cable - connect it to the battery terminals permanently and have it sitting under the little removable cover in the windshield cowl on the left hand side of the car. The pig tail fits perfectly, and you’ll never be at risk of being stuck with a flat battery.
