Not sure what I plan to do. I have dp105 from my Ducati in 5 gallon. I Amy just run it as is until I get a better grip on the tune. It's also a 997.2.

I am am only running Sunday.ill come look for you.

My VMAX event is in UK. Anytime you're over you're always welcome to attend with me. Good luck this weekend there are plenty on here who know about tuning the dfi cars but I've not tuned one to date. I have to say I am very very tempted post seeing a 9e/Proto 991.2 turbo s run at VMAX. 0-300kph in 18 secs flat! Thats as fast as a Veyron, Very jealous of you dfi jet pilots

Totally missed the VMAX comment, was so excited thinking another of us Rennlisters would be there. Have a great run. I'll post what she does. The drive for me is a little far to the UK not to mention all that water. But if I get over there I'll give you a shout. Vise versa here.

I was at VMAX in a 2018 991.2 turbo s coupe. Ran neck and neck with Imi up to 130mph and then he started walking away from me. By the speed traps I was 10 car lengths behind. I watched the races with the, 600LT, F12, SV and Mr JWW too. 997 beat all of them. Overheard a chat in marquee with JWW and his team. They were grumbling. JWW claimed Imi jumped the start his security guy big as a silverback (yes he had security lol).

 

Hi Alan good to hear from you I think I remember your turbo s the meteor grey one? With the punch up I saw on Youtube at VMAX in Oct I'm really not surprised Mr JWW has security. Lol even if I did jump start inadvertently not sure what JWW grumbling about as a manual loses 2.5 secs or whatever just on gear changes and we also lose max boost on every gear change. JWW was leading at half mile mark by 3-5 cars and my 997 still reeled him in. You guys could see better if I passed JWW before the trap I did glimpse over and felt I got through first but run that race 10x and the 992 will win 9 of them as i cant change gears perfectly on every run up the airstrip like that. Very difficult to get a good launch in a manual and even slight hesitation on the gear change a PDK car just disappears even if they're stock like your lovely 991 turbo s PDK is awesome the way it holds boost in one seamless blast. Very jealous of you guys

Thats a fantastic collection especially the 72 RS and 993 RS. I'd love to compare your 993 RS to my own 9m RS
