Default 997.1TT Diagnosis only P2189

First of all I realize diagnosing & troubleshooting over a forum isn't exactly easy or effective.

However I would like to be armed with as much information as possible before I take it in and there are some people live together with 911 turbo on here.

I have a 2007 997.1TT that is throwing a code.

Codes:Only P2189 System too lean at idle bank 2

Behaviour

I can start the engine.

But around 5 seconds later it stall.

I replaced MAF sensor.

Situation did not improve.

Welcome any feedback.

1) recalibrate idle using PIWIS
2) fuel injector cleaner
3) bad fuel injector or even fuel pump

that's all I got, others will add I'm sure

p.s. could be a boost leak somewhere - check the hose connections which connect the turbos to the IC. If one had somehow come off this would be exactly the outcome - starting fine then cut out stall turn off after 5 seconds.

I would be looking for a vacuum leak on bank 2 specifically.

The following method is a backyard technique that can identify any leaks that exist after the MAF.

If you have a scan tool that can read live data, monitor the fuel trim on bank 2 at idle. Target range should be 1.00V +/- 0.09V. Spray brake cleaner around bank 2 compressor inlet pipe (where the plastic tube enters the compressor), and around the plenum on bank 2 (this may be tough to do given the tight space, but brake cleaner quickly atomizes and should make good contact with the components in that area). Any vacuum leaks will suck in the brake cleaner and change the fuel trim on bank 2. It will enrich.

If you are able to get the fuel trim to change by spraying brake cleaner in any area, you have a vacuum leak after the MAF. In this condition, the DME will pick up the MAF reading from bank 2 and expect to see a target AF value based on the MAF input. If there is an air leak AFTER the MAF, the DME will see X amount of air from the MAF and a higher than expected amount of oxygen in the exhaust and thus, set a system lean DTC.

I apologize for the delay.
Thank you for a lot of advice.

I checked the hose connections which connect the turbos to the IC.
I found the leak and replaced the horse.
After that around 4 minutes 30 seconds later the engine stalled.

So I used the scan tools and found another leak in gaskets and o-ring and a oxygen sensor has a little problem.
I replaced them.
However around 10 seconds later it stalled.

So I will try to clean fuel injector tomorrow.

Welcome any feedback.

Sounds almost like the fuel pump is dying or failing to maintain pressure/flow.

This problem was resolved thanks to your support.
The last problem was a bad CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR.

Dear iWrenchmy911,
If you didn't teach me about the leak, I could not find the leak in the hose connections which connect the turbos to the IC.
Thank you very much.

Dear NSXavier,
If you didn't teach me about the live data tool, I could not find another leak(gaskets).
Thank you so much.

Dear 964hans,
If you didn't attach PDF, I could not find gaskets and order them.
Thanks a lot.

Dear TheDeckMan,
Thank you for your advice.
Last month I replaced the fuel pump.
Thank you.

I appreciate your kindness.
