My buddy and I did the same thing and went for a 5 hr drive on Sat while practicing good social distancing :-)
What was your route...always looking for great drives in the area. Especially now with this craziness!

What could be better than a two hour solo hike..... A two hour solo ride.

New Zealand has gone in to a State of Emergency, so no driving for us at the moment. Is disappointing as this time of year is perfect for early morning hoons

Went for my fourth Corona Cruise, they last anywhere from a short 1/2 hour to a longer hour plus drive. Today was longer through the back roads of Chester County, PA. Respectful through housed areas, wide berth to joggers/cyclists/horseback riders, but able to really enjoy the weather and almost empty roads. It's like having a lid removed from my head. Now back to the grind!

Wondering if I've been up that way before... there's a driving route referred to as Tail of the Dragon "North" somewhere up that way (2 hours from where I am)... will have to look it up again.

Will definitely msg next cruise, do likewise if you're heading out for one. Stay safe.

Which route did you take?

I've cruised around the area, usually starting around Coatesville and exploring roads. There's a particular route I take, but tend to venture off. End up grabbing food at The Whip Tavern.

While out on a Covid cruise, my wife and I came across the mall/arcade we used to go to and managed to snap a couple pics because there wasn’t anyone in sight. Then we started planning mods after some maintenance.

I managed to sneak in another weekend escape. This time it was a solo drive a few hours north to a twisty scenic road, Chuckanut Drive. Beautiful weather, low traffic and in the four + hours of driving, I think I saw one police car. If it wasn't for this global disaster we are living through, this would be an incredible time for driving!

Just the video:

Traffic in general appears to be returning to reduced normal in Northern VA. There's currently not a lot of social distancing or mask/glove wearing. Our CV19 numbers state-wide appear low compared to other cities and states which I think contributes to a sense of false security. And I agree that our semi-rural setting and the earlier decision to social distance has something to do with it.

On another note. I took my GT4 out for some exercise Saturday and it seemed like any other Saturday in my area. But I did see a McLaren P1. The driver decided he was going to show me what he was driving, need I say more? If I had been in my TTS I might have been tempted to get a closer look. Anyway, the P1 is an awesome looking very impressive car.
