Any benefit to these compared to a 997.2TTS with OEM Dynamic Engine Mounts

I would run the Dynamic Mounts until they fail, then consider the value proposition of replacing them with RSS or other mounts of your choice as dynamic mounts are quite costly.

Some have done this pro actively as they prefer the firmer ride at all times. (Requires computer re-code for non-dynamic mounts, if memory serves me..)

Maybe some RL members will chime in and share their experience using or swapping out the OE Dynamic Mounts.

I just swapped out my 100K mile 997.1 turbo oem motor mounts with these and the shifting experience is so much better. Worth every penny. Didn’t notice any added NVH either.

Thumbs up

How would these compare in price and quality to 993/964 RS engine mounts which a few guys have gone for instead for 997 turbo?

Brainz, Thanks for all the feedback.
maybe itc was you before that suggested it, but. I have donec the trans relearn several times, getting up to 60 and coasting down to low speed multiple timesc after the reset. Ill try to do it a few more times.
i would love it if it wasnt the mounts, would have to go through that.
I did coils and plugs around 50k, plugs lookedca bit tired, but no changev after.
did the strut mount, the big bushing end was torn. No change with new one. Also used 3m window weld on old strut mount, came out rock hard, but no change.
ive checked those vac lines under the Y pipe when i cleaned my intact, theyc seemed ok, but didn't really test.
so when you say hold a vacuum, you mean if i suck on the line, it should NOT feel like an open end straw, right?
Ive looked over most lines i can see, but nov real testing so I will do that.
i had an indy do my coolant pipes as preventative, always wondered it this shudder coincided with that, if they missed or damage a vac line, or the intact manifold gasket is off.
ive tried spraying intact valve throttle body cleaner all around the intact gasket area, and some vac lines, but got no idle changed.
I also replaced my trans fluid with mobil 3309?? Forgetc the exact name, and added a bit of lubeguard because i used to get the hard 5 to 3 downshift associated with the valve body, and to help possible shudder. The hatd downshift was only a few times a year, but have had maybe 1 since the trannyc service. Ill drop the pan and do the filter next time.
i found a local shop that works on porsches and he has a smoker so might bite the bullet and do that.
