Wheels,19x9 front/19x12 rear. 235’s/305’s vs 245s/325’s? Well aware of the all wheel drive concerns and acceptable differences wheel height ratio wise. Would appreciate some input, thanks

I went with 235/305, based on the strong comments about potential issues with the awd system etc, I stayed stock. I think the stock look is a bit off and in hindsight, I'd have gone 245/325. I prefer the slightly higher profile and don't believe any issues would result.

Tire aspect ratio would fill up the void and make the car look lower also.

Tmistry, like you I played it safe with my Gt2 wheels but with new wheels coming in I’m thinking of making the jump👍

I’m in to know too. Would love to up-size for a better look.

Bigger tires will definitely slow the performance of the car. Heavier and more frictional surface tensions both contact and aerodynamics.

I went with 245/35 and 305/30. I thought the 235s up front looked too stretched.

I thought for 9 and 12 in wheels you had to go to stock GT2RS size tires also which would be the 245/35 and 325/30....? Hundreds of turbo owners have the wider wheels from what ive read the last few years and it looks like most went with 245/35 and 325/30 with no issue you at all.

Thanks, haven’t heard of any isolated issues with the 245/325 combo. Wondering how aggressive the 325 in the rear will be with 19x12, ET 48, up front a 245 will defiantly be more appealing👍

I’m running a 245/325 combo with 19x12 wheels in the rear and it really looks good. I changed the type of tire at same time (Michelin PS 4s) at same time so not sure whether it’s the tire or width but it sure sticks better than before.
No issues yet with drivability or warning lights.

Curious for more views on this. I have a set of 19x9(F) and 19x12(R) inbound and looking at tire options. Here were my calc's on stock vs. wider tire options - curious whether the additional gap between front and rear is problematic. 3.6% difference vs. 2.9% delta with stock set-up. I suppose another option would be to run 315's in the back and bring it closer to stock (2.7% delta), though there aren't as many tire options available in 315. In with more wear likely on the rear's, the 2.7% delta will likely decrease, going away from stock. I have the question in to a few local shops, but curious if anyone here has an informed view.

I ran 325/30/20 and 245/35/20 in my 2009TT and it seemed fine, but 19's are new to me.
