if he polished out the “scuffs” himself from the accident, and no paint or panel work was done, then how does it show up on auto check?

“car was babied” though. But missing lip spoiler, huge dent on front fascia, yellowed stone guards and an accident.

Thats because it’s not a Mezger like mine, so you got ripped off as far as I’m concerned and a peasant *sarcasm*

Polar met is the favorite silver - it's what I painted by 66 outlaw back in the early 90s. Beautiful car and awesome buy!

Been looking at buying a C8. I want to change my whole personal look. Nice fade haircut, along with an increase in testosterone. Here is my cycle.

5 grams of EQ for 4 weeks.
5 grams of test enanthate for 4 weeks.
160mg of dbol/day for 3 weeks
250mg of stanozlol/day for 2 weeks.

This will get me in the crowd quickly. 7-18-19 is the target date. Screw the Mezger stuff, I want to get bigger.

It was a joke ... I was making fun of “us”, the 997.1vs.2 talks and values.

With the introduction of the 992 Turbo this year, some slight shock waves will be felt throughout all models. Probably more felt at the front line. For example the 996 TT followed by the 997.1 slowly decaying to subsequent models. Maybe they will maybe they won’t. Will see what happens. The 964 Turbo and 993 Turbo are not completely unscathed but not the values that were obtained a few years ago.

2013 Turbo S with 45,000 miles at U$77,250 with Porsche CPO - price seems low for an end of generation model even with slightly higher than average miles on it. Maybe the 991TT/TTS used vehicles coming on to the market are depressing the 997TT/TTS PDK pricing.

Don't disagree with your logic but there are few things that should help minimize the downward pressure, IMO. The continued escalation of the MSRPs on new Porsche, at this point in time a pretty good economy, the relative rarity of the manual turbos and the aging of early baby boomers that lusted after these but are now relatively affordable to other Porsche and even the newest Supra and the Vette. With minimal electronic nannies and analog feel, for those that actually want to drive them vs "being seen in one".

Do I think they will be collector cars, no, just like the 996....but they are wonderful cars to drI've and still look terriffic.

Understand the hesitation regarding longer term repairs, but the pipes and cam fix can be done in one shot so it can be a one fix. Or, you actually still buy Fidelity extended warranties on an 07 or later for roughly $700-800 per year depending on the duration and mileage. The warranty would cover all of the known defects...so this risk is basically gone should one choose this approach.

I like the 997.2 Turbo 6spd....but uncommon. The PDK version is nice..if you like PDK (I don't for a weekend sporty car). The 997.2 Turbo S is probably the most desirable for those OK with a pdk. They are deadly fast, great brakes, and a refreshed interior and suspension makes them an asssin's tool of choice. Even a 2011 tts with low mile's is an upper $90''s car...and like you, don't see them dropping very much.

The Turbo S is the preferred 997.2, and the 997.1 Turbo 6spd is the best of that breed, so I think these 2 will be least affected. Time will tell!
