Default Got my rims back, very pleased...

Got my rims back from powder coating. Real happy. Powder coater told me he has never seen such strong layers on the wheels. Took forever to blast sand everything off. Whatever Porsche uses, it is tough stuff and there is three layers.

uld get a layer off and then another, and another. 3 total.

They are black right? So reflective they almost look silver...they look super sharp. My college aged Son with the Mustang GT with black wheels kinda suggested I go black too (would have looked good for sure), but I was going for a different look so went to the other end of the spectrum...But your white car will look fantastic with those wheels...congrats!

Thanks! They are actually going on the black 997TT. Had silver but they got dirty so damn quick.

I just painted my center caps with a special plastic trim gloss black paint. I think they look pretty good.

Looks great. I was thinking of doing the same, just have not pulled the trigger yet. I was also thinking about trying plasti dip since it is reversible.

Black also looks good with the 'black wheels' factory option, where the surface is still machined and clear coated, but the inner parts are all black instead of gray. If you ever get bored of the all black you could machine the surface but leave the interior black!

Yes, the wheels on the red Turbo above are HRE P101's. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you need help & guidance in your wheel selection.
