Default My solution to changing wheels

I don't have much space in my 2 car garage, and found it difficult changing rear stock wheels. Yes I did buy 2 of those wheel hanger studs to help with wheel removal, it helped but wasn't perfect. Recently I got a set of 19" BBS e88s with 325 tire in the rear and I knew I had to do something to make my life easier, and to protect the wheels & calipers from damage.. Well this is what I came up with, Its a motorcycle lift, got from from amazon for ~$50. I built the base and top part. It is adjustable ( height, rotation and rolls on casters ), and needless to say, took my wheels off without any problem in very tight place.

Sweet nice job dude...unfortunately for me, your garage is cavernous compared to my beach condo one car garage...If I park so I can get out of the driver's side the passenger's side is literally pinned against the wall.

That technique would be especially nice for cars with PCCB to help prevent accidental chipping of the rotors.

total cross pollination from GarageJournal.... Nice fab work. I picked up a Miller Multimatic 215 to learn to weld over the winter
