Im pretty sure I will be buying these for my 997.1 Turbo. Anyone else have them on a turbo and can show us some pics?

IMHO, those look awful. I could never understand why someone would try to make their car look like a newer car (think 964 made to look like 993, SC to look like 993, 996 to 997, etc). They all look terrible when looking back on it but for some reason Porsche guys keep making the same mistake only to have a ****box full of crappy quality parts that no one wants.
Think about it this way, price a pair of oem lights and compare to that. Why on earth would you replace your lights with parts a third of the cost and quality?

I'm not a fan of these, but I do like the Depo/Dectane rears for the 997.1 (as you can see from my pic). Not because they make it look like a .2 (they don't), but just because, to me, they look better than the stock lights. You could make exactly the same argument there though. Ultimately, people can do what they like to their cars, and there will always be someone else who thinks they ruined it. (I fully admit I see plenty of cars out there that I shake my head at...)
Half the enjoyment of these cars, or any ride for that matter, is the modification search process, then installing those mods yourself. All great fun and each to their own...

I like the look. Really updates the look of the car. Also the projector lens is clear which increases performance. Also ordered dectane LED tail lights.

Making it your own is half the fun! You won’t please everybody with mods. What’s important is that you are happy with it!
When I still owned my 997.1 Turbo, I did a few small mods. One of my favorite was the OE solid red tail lights. They look a bit dated compared to modern LEDs, but I thought the look suited the car. I’ve got OE clear tail lights on my 991.1 Turbo S. Many people hate them. I don’t care. I like them.
