As Mac had posted a few months ago, he accepted ownership of my 2012 TTS. Here he is pulling away from the house, it was a day filled with mixed emotions.
After a search around the country I found my next P-Car, a 2016 GT3RS PTS Black... The car is coming from San Diego, where I flew to last week to complete the final inspection and transaction. So now I wait until the week of the 30th. That said, there’s not been a day that hasn’t gone by that I’ve not thought of my TTS, well...I mean Mac’s TTS.
I still check in on your posts and wish all of you the best.
Anybody going to VIR for the Aug 19, IMSA Race?

Here’s my story, I truly thought I could go through life without a Porsche, at least for a while... I really thought my 17 Z06 would fill the void....man was I wrong!!!
After owning a 09 TT and 12 TTS, I should had realized I was hooked like a crack attack, but worse. I started looking at 991 TTS’s, but there’s just something about them that didnt set my heart on fire like the 997s. Then I started looking at GT3’s and RS’s...and BAM!!! I was hooked, again.
I still tremendously love the 997 TTS and I’ll have to just wait and see how the RS works out, but one thing’s for sure... I’m hooked on Porsche 911s!!! Bad!!!

So very true...when clean and aprox an hour or so before sunset, is there any other color that looks as good? With a clear wrap, ceramic finish or combo...keeping black (or dark colors), like new could not be any easier. Thank Lord!!! JB
I too kept telling myself I'll never another black car...then ended up with my second black 997 turbo. They just look so good when clean.
Your RS looks sinister in black.....but I never knew black was a PTS color.
As I understand it, for the 16 GT3RS there were 4 colors to choose from, Lava Orange, White, Ultraviolet, Silver, and finally a PTS. Who’d a thunk that of all colors, Black would be a PTS and at $5500.00, for the privilege no less. According to the San Diego Porsche Dealership, this is 1 of 5 in the Black, something I’ll need to verify.
What year 997?
