Center Locks
When I removed my center lock wheels today I found them very tight. I did get them removed but found I had to put an extension on my 1” breaker bar to get them loose. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered the same problem and if what the remedy might be. They were torqued to 444 foot lbs when last installed but seemed to tighten up.

I have a 4-5' breaker bar and Torque Wrench. Last time I took mine off it was very tight as well. Just follow the manual. Do not loosen while on the ground must be in the air.

How did the Moluballoy aluminum anti-seize paste look when you removed it? Was there a uniform coat on the wheel and on the nut mating surfaces? Did you apply more prior to installing the wheel?
I use a 4-foot breaker bar when I change my wheels.

I have only taken mine off once and it took a 4' breaker bar (as noted above). I used the anti-seize paste and haven't taken them off since (the first time was just to know that I could and also trying out the new QuickJack), but they seemed VERY tight. I think it's normal, but make sure you use the anti-seize paste every time you remove and reinstall them.

444lbs is for a 991. I'm pretty certain the 997 is 380

I picked this setup breaker bar and torque wrench and it will breakdown and came with the case. It fits in the frunk and I had space to put a tube of Castrol Molube.
