Why not consider a 991 turbo cabriolet? It seems to check all the boxes you want. The cabriolet top in the 991 cars is vastly improved over the 996/997 cars. It’s actually a fabric-covered magnesium hard top. It’s a quiet as a coupe when it’s closed.

Wow even more options. I was under the impression any soft top cab would be noisy. Which is an issue for me. I like cabs, but the 997 is noisier than I expected. 991 tt cab may be an option, but concerned with the cost to buy.

I’ve always had a thing for the IWC ‘08 SL63, loved the shape and thought maybe it’s an AMG that’ll appreciate. Excluding the SLS.
