Default Pinning cams

Is pinning cams a thing to do on 997.2 turbos?

Ive seen a lot about it on the .1 cars but can’t find a single thread related to it on the DFI cars. My engine is out and apart at the moment and thought it would be prudent to ask.

Nope. Not a .2 issue.

Great news!

Finally, one thing I can leave alone while doing the build!

Thank you for the info.

You’re welcome. You definitely drew the short stick, unfortunately. Hardly ever see any .2 folks with serious issues. You’ve got the right attitude though. I had to pin my cams after one slipped during E85 tuning. Wasn’t a fun process and cost about half of your engine build, if it’s any consolation.
