Fault Codes!! Need help!!
Hello guys..
New to Porsche car and this forum.
I need some help. Am trying to buy a 997.1 Turbo.. Did a PPI and some fault codes come back...
Here is the report and fault codes. Please help, its there something I should be worried about? And how much will come to repair them?
Thank you
Paint meter readings: All paint meter readings between 3.5 and 5.5.
Driver door has a small scratch above the door handle, a small scuff on the inner door edge, and a small scuff on the panel below the door.
RR quarter has 2 small, light scratches.
Passenger door has 4 very small, light consecutive scratches, and a small scuff on the panel below the door.
Front bumper has a slight indent at the center.
Lots of curbing all around spoiler. Very center of spoiler has a large puncture.
Light scratches on driver's seat.
Scratches and scuffs on leather and plastic inner footwell door panel on driver and passenger sides.
Scratches and scuffs on center console.
Material wearing away at seat belt dispenser on driver and passenger sides.
FAULT CODES PRESENT:
Fault code present: TIPTRONIC/PDK 0200 - 2315 Communication instrument cluster
Fault code present: NAVIGATION - 8021 GPS antenna - open circuit
Fault code present: PARK ASSISTANT 02 - 0007 Send/receive pulse
Fault code present: POSIP AIRBAG 5004 - C140 Communication instrument cluster; C152 Communication PSM control module
Fault code present: SEAT MEMORY 0100 - C102 Comfort CAN - single-wire operation
Fault code present: VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 0201 - 8036 Right seat heater
Fault code present: C174 Fault, convertible top control module
When putting cabriolet top into closed position 3x passenger window did not return to closed position but remained 3/4 open.
Some codes may be indicative of a low charge on the vehicle battery. Recommend battery be charged up, codes cleared and vehicle driven 20 miles to see what codes return.
Coolant cap leaking.
Coolant level in the lower limit.
LF outer CV boot is blown, throwing grease and needs to be replaced.
LF inner CV boot has a sweat - recommend replacing.
RF inner and outer CV boots are sweating. Recommend replacing.
Tire tread remaining: Fronts - 5/32, Rears - 7/32. RR tire has a nail in it - doesn't seem to be leaking air.
LF forward fender liner ripped.
Brake pads remaining: Fronts - 7mm, Rears - 5mm.

I’d get a quote to sort out from the dealer. What’s the asking price? Sounds like more trouble than it’s worth, why not find a car in better condition?
The paint damage, front lip wear and interior wear are things you can use to drive the price down, but in the end you need to accept the state it’s in. Front lip is easy to replace.
The seat errors will likely relate to one of the wires being damaged due to being pinched when the seat position is adjusted. Not a major.
The nail should be removed and tyre replaced or patched.
I’d get the codes cleared and a retest done after driving for 30 minutes and using each system.

Do what they say, charge the battery, clear the codes and test.
