Hey, Sig, not sure why you wanted a Bosch, but if you bought it from Peb Boys what you got is a rebranded Exide battery. Pep Boys has an agreement to sell and distribute Bosch batteries in America, but they get Exide to manufacture them. Not that big of a deal, Bosch batteries are nothing special and Exide can make an equivalent unit.

Thanks for reminding me that I needed to order a new battery for my '07 Audi RS4 (still on OEM battery even though original was from 12/2006!!). Group 49 AGM so a little more than the 997 battery I recently bought but that 30% off helps a lot.
