If it's not listed on the contract, then they won't cover it. Calling to discuss was a waste of time as they won't budge.

Some of you might say DUH I knew that, however, for others who's wondering whether or not this fix would be covered with Gold Plus Warranty... the answer is NO.

Do they see this as a wearable item like brakes and a clutch? most warranties do not cover that stuff.

As Rusk states, unless it is explicitly listed under the policy, it aint covered. Plain and simple.. Which is why I recommend to people to get the Platinum policy which covers everything EXCEPT the items they list..

I can post a copy of the exclusion list if someone wants to see it..

I mean at the end of the day its a 997 turbo not a civic.....if the price of repairs is a problem(not saying that this is the case) then you shouldnt have the car.

sucks to have a warranty that doesn't cover issues when they come up but its just like any insurance they want to pay as little as possible

That's why I got platinum warranty. That would've covered. They don't cover wearables like clutches or brakes. And no trim. Cpo covered trim.
