Question 2013 997 Turbo S Cab 5k Miles for 99K?

Hey there, today I found a very rare 2013 997 Turbo S Cab with less than 5k miles. Listed for about 99k before ttl in Carmax. One owner, local car. I Will test drive it tomorrow. What do you think of it? Is it worth it? I am currently driving a 16 Cayman GTS. Thanks a lot!!

If you love this color combo, and you REALLY want a convertible instead of a hardtop, and you sure would have to love this interior - OMG... you must buy this car!!! What a deal (if it completely checks out). Less than 5k miles? That's unbelievable. Are you sure you want this particular car though? Have you driven it? If you don't love the color combo or convertible, it's a non starter.

I LOVE MY TURBO S. For me, it's literally the perfect car, for a 1000 different reasons.

You asked and Rob delivered with no emotion

Color combo isn't my taste but, I own a Black on Black 997 with a 6 speed.

Car has a PDK automatic so, it's not that bad. I personally cant commit on this transmission but the reviews are great.

I'm not a huge fan of the red interiors either*, but it could work, especially if you add some black deviation. Even black floor mats would probably go a long way. Also, for the love of god, if you buy it please replace those yellow seat belts. I don't want to know who thought yellow on red was a good idea. Black or possibly silver would be nice.

*Something like this is how to properly do a red interior IMO: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=820121. Porsche just goes way overboard.

This is an absolutely phenomenal deal if you want a rag top and that color combo. I also have a 997.2 Turbo S and absolutely love the car and the dual clutch transmission. BTW, that is the only transmission option in the 997.2 Turbo S. The color and rag top are not for me but I'm shocked at what a great deal this is for the right buyer. If you ever felt you Cayman GTS lacked power, this will take care of that.

I check Carmax every day to see what's selling and that car must have just appeared today. I see it's already reserved or sold. Was it you? I bought my 11 TTS coupe from Carmax so I know it's a good deal.

Personally not my favorite color combo and I would never own a cab again. But it appears to be nicely optioned and their extended warranty if you choose to buy it is the best in the industry. If you want to talk PM me.

Keep us posted.

It's a topless rocket. I like all things topless. Rockets are fast.

Curious about no sport steering wheel and paddles. I thought it was standard. If you can endure a red interior, looks to be a good car. Worth 90-95 imo

Yes I did reserve it for test drive today. I am actually looking for a convertible. The only thing I am not sure is that carrera red interior. But silver and red combo is also very classic Porsche.

BTW, I absolutely love your yellow TTS. I saw it on Carmax and tried to transfer it but it was sold already, and you are right, your TTS is indeed deal of the century!

I will test drive the car today and let you guys know.

Your TTS (I hope you buy it!) and my yellow and a red TTS are the only TTS's I've seen on Carmax in a long time. At $99K with 5K miles it's money in the bank regardless of the color combo. As more and more owners abandon their 991's for 997's a last year car will certainly depreciate less quickly.

BTW, if you want to trade the yellow belts for my black belts let me know.

While I like a manual that color combo is amazing. Agree that silver or black belts and black mats would improve it even more.

If that's your color combo and you want a rag top, I would say go-- I paid about that for a normal/boring color and more miles, I'd say that is a solid deal to move on, KH

I have a platinum silver '12 turbo s with Carrera red natural leather interior and I think it looks great! Pictures do NOT do the interior any favors, must be seen in person to really appreciate the interior color. Does not look good with the yellow belts, easy to reconcile why they did but grey/silver belts would have been a better choice.

Classic Porsche look .....

lol im a Newfoundlander as well and I searched for a car like your for 6 months before buying mine, of all places I would have never expected to see a 997.2 turbo with that color combo, Newfoundland would be the top lol

Apparently the OPR didn't like the car for whatever reason. Anyway, it's for sale again on the Carmax website. It's a very good price for anyone who is interested.
