Darn! Yes, I've owned two 997 C2S's in Carmon Red and I love the color. I passed on a Carmon red turbo coupe due to the tip. Not that I hate the tip, but this is a car that I prefer the manual.
Happy to pay a premium for the right car.
Really love Carmon Red. Something about it just really works for me on the 997 TT.
I spoke with CTDan, the rennlister and previous owner of the car. It's absolutely perfect, except for the color being ruby vs Carmon. It's close, but not what I'm after. Gorgeous car though. Just a little to light in the burgundy spectrum for me. The exhaust and fidelity platinum warranty make the car a good value, I believe. I'm sure it'll find a nice home.

Coming from a "fairly rare" 997 Turbo Guards Red ....that is an awesome color and certainly a Unicorn.....

E4 Carmon Red was only built in the 997TT version in 2007 in Coupe form. There were only 23 built in that color. The only colors with fewer production numbers were the green and teal and PTS.
My 2008 997.1 Base Cab was a PTS order Carmon Red Metallic, coco top with full natural leather.

How about a wrap? Cheaper than paint, and won't hurt resale. Good wraps these days look great.

Not sure on the wrap, it just seems like it might too matte? I haven't spent any time up close to a well wrapped car, perhaps I'll give it a look. I'm in metro Detroit, if anyone has a recommendation on a good wrap place.
