New owner... .1 RS: front lip clearance
Hi all
I am (hopefully) about to be the new owner of a 7.1 GT3RS to compliment my 964 turbo.
In prep for this very low front lip, I am curious if the OEM suspension allows ride height adjustments and if it materially impacts street driving?
It seems 1/2" - 3/4" more at the front would make a big difference for driveways/slopes/etc.
Failing that.. is there consensus on the best front lift? Seems CarGraphic and Techart mentioned most.
Thanks and look forward to being part of the GT3 community!

Congrats!
You can raise the car a bit. But really, all you need to do is learn to be mindful of how you drive it and learn to angle it. You can also consider installing the cup lip. It's more pliable and much less likely to crack if you hit something.
Failing that Sharkwerks can install the TechArt lift system for you.

1. congrats
2. front lifts are $ and they break often
3. OEM is coil over you can raise the car no problem but too high will destroy handling

Congrats!
pics or it did not happen...
oem lips are relatively cheap, just keep replacing with not vented cup, or .1GT3 is not as low.

PPI being performed so not quite over the line..
Is the non-vented cup lip preferable because it gives more clearance vs the vented cup version?
When you say ".1GT3" is also an option - does that mean the non-RS GT3 lip also fits and provides a little more clearance?
Thanks

The cup lips are about an inch lower that the GT3 lip. The GT3 differs from the RS lip, the RS lip has extra holes on the nose to mount the additional $500 plastic scrub bar.
Sprexx can chime in on the benigits of the non vented cup. The vented version provides no benifits

Ok got it. So the right answer is to get either the standard GT3 lip or the Cup lip.. but NOT the RS lip due to the expensive scrub bar.
If the cup lip is 1" less clearance than the GT3 lip.. what is the advantage?
(noob questions sorry.. did a bunch of searches and ended up with more questions than answers!)

Don't worry about the lip. It's a consumable and is a badge of honor. The worse it looks the more you drove the car. They are super simple to replace and if you want you can have a nice one to put on when go to a show or cars and coffee. Also go at an angle over larger dips to reduce as much as possible. They are cheap to replace.

get the Cup lip without vents. It is super flexi. (You can curl it up and put it in a suitcase.)
Being flexi, you can strike curbs and scrape it where you wish. They are disposable. Buy two.
Approach everything on an angle.
Stock height is fine. Lifts are lame.
