After a long search and weeks of waiting for the car to make it out west, took delivery of an 07 997.1 GT3. Basic build with PCCB's and bone stock.
Drove her home from Vegas and through Palm Springs over Hwy 74, Palms to Pines Highway for my first Canyon run. What an amazing vehicle. Now I understand. The shifter, steering feel, exhaust. So different than my old 997s and Turbo.

Congrats. I know the feeling well. Both of the support from this community AND that new GT3 feeling.
I picked up my new car only about 4 weeks ago, and it has exceeded any expectations. Basically the same car as yours. It may be reflective of my limited vocabulary, but I struggle to find the words to describe why these cars are so special. A keeper for sure. Enjoy in the best of health.
