Crazy to think the third owner sold it for possibly under $99k in 2010 w/ only 7k miles. I wish I was buying an RS back in 2010. I really missed the boat.

Even more crazy was he paid $168k just two years prior.

I remember this car- first one I recalled seeing for under $100k and it sat in the classifieds here for several weeks. Back when it was posted I was just a dreamer who was waiting for his dream car to get down to $70k. I realized the error of my ways so I sold another car and upped my price to $80k. I ended up getting one for $95k which exploded my budget but in retrospect was the best bad decision I ever made.

i hope to have a best bad decision I ever made scenario some day on a .2RS.

just curious what the historical low price point has been for a 997.2 RS with average miles?

I recall seeing a few 997-2 RS cars in the upper 120s. That was 4+ years ago. Still under warranty!

I was offered one for 140 in 2014 and like an idiot I turned it down. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if their prices go up or down. If you have the means just buy it because the car is a keeper.

Been contemplating making the jump from my .1 to a .2, but I have a feeling I will be in the same place afterwards, but wanting a .2RS. Just not sure if it's economically feasible.

I picked up my PTS .2RS for under $120k back in 2013. Best car purchase I've ever made.

I may wager the market has peaked, realizing 2018 rebirths the n/a gt3 with a manual...

I'll keep buying and selling new GT product. I ain't selling my 997s. The new stuff is AWESOME but not a 997 substitute at all.

997s gonna peak or increase with overall car market and economy most likely. More 991/992 GT's does not change 997rs supply.

997 RS gearbox is a better gearbox than just about anything else.

I love the 911R gearbox but the clutch pedal is lighter and feels softer. Two best 911 boxes, but the 997RS is best.

Wow, sold my 997.1 RS with a track proven 4.2L engine build, ATC 22' trailer, multiple spares and 4 additional sets of wheels for $150K.
Boy am I a total moron.
This Porsche stuff is stupid crazy.
