Default My plan was to buy a 997 GT car once a year or so, well that changed...

Call me nutz but I went a totally different direction and its not a 991, it not even a Porsche.

I recently sold my 3-axis CNC Bridgeport as I got bit by the CAD/CAM bug and wanted something bigger, better, faster.

I jumped head first today on two new machines. Haas VF2SS VMC and ST10 Lathe, way overkill for my needs right now but that's the way we roll sometimes...

I will use these for some copper consumable parts for work but other than that its open season.

Just buy a 3D Printer to go with the Haas. Then you can print the 991 and cut new wheels with the Haas.

that's pretty baller.
had i known i would have had a bunch of stuff cnc w/ you recently -and i'm local.
now i know!

i need a job at your place! getting tired of pedaling equipment and software to semiconductor companies... will have to dust off the old Mech Engr books though.

Let me know, machines are still being built so it will be 1-2 months before operational.
