Question about CPO coverage
The car was CPO'ed while the suspension had Taret parts. Dealer is saying monoballs have failed and want to charge me an arm and a leg for labor to fix.
Am I on the hook for labor even though car was CPO'ed with aftermarket parts?

My car was also CPO'ed with a good amount of Sharkwerks goodies. Saw it prior to the CPO inspection and it had a Sharkwerks sticker on the window. Looked underneath and spotted the Sharkwerks exhaust. I asked them to leave the sticker on. After inspection, the sticker was gone but exhaust was left on. Later found out the coolant pipes, engine mounts and clutch were also Sharkified. Fortunately all of that was left alone during the CPO inspection. If any of those components failed, I think it would be handled on a case by case basis. At the same time I wouldn't expect Porsche to fully cover the aftermarket parts I'm enjoying if they failed within the CPO period. I might if I raised an issue with the aftermarket parts at purchase.

Yea, it's a grey area. My hope is that they cover labor while I cover the part. Both from control arm joints went bad. Almost 6k in parts and labor.

wait what? Can you expand on this? Control arms are a 1 maybe 2 hr R&R and about $700 each. This estimate is 3 times too high.

Here is the breakdown:
Control Arms $1346 each. Labor is $525 each
Also he said monoball has too much play and is worn out. $169 for each and $159 labor for each.
Had other issues that were taken off quote, as he didn't realize car was still under CPO.
So now my quote is in the $4300 range.

What I would do:
Pay the parts, push dealer to pay the labor.
or go to a race shop that will charge 30% of those crazy rates.
Which parts is it? the control arm upright side bushing or the inner bushing?
