992 is fat and ugly. Its the new 996. I wouldnt buy one either mt or pdk.

Crazy stuff Steve. That is going to upset a lot of people. Especially since it seems there is a large amount of GT3s in Cali. In Colorado there are only a few that I know of.

All I have to say about it is I’m glad I switched to the 997.

Well I’ll add the thought that other nanny blue states may choose to follow suit especially since our senile Bozo In chief is to busy running around crying about “climate change” while he set the country on fire in 100 days from inflation to the border.

Apparently, you can not even get a manual until next year as well. There are going to be a lot of PDK cars - 997 is king no matter what it is so much more focused than the newer cars - Also driving my car last night, it is fun at slower speeds, just playing with the complex shifter/clutch/throttle is something I can do and have fun with speeds below 50mph the lesser power and analogue feel makes it perfect for what I want in a GT3.

However, I can not knock 6MT buyers for getting a new car and optioning it to an exact spec, that would be cool.

Also, did anyone else think the Touring looks huge? Not sure what it is, lack of wing or other, but after watching the Porsche release video yesterday it looked absolutely massive to me....

There are a lot of threads, but this a focused discussion about another GT car (manual transmission focused) I think that topic is something 997 GT owners can elaborate on in our own little echo chamber.
