997.1 gt3 plugs
What can I expect to pay for new plugs on a 997.1 gt3. Car has approximately 20k miles. Anything else I should budget for except the coolant lines? Thanks

Probably needs coils too, depending on age. Have those inspected for cracks.
Porsche charges an exorbitant amount for each park plug too, like $70 for a $8-10 plug. You can buy Bosch branded of the same part for much less or do as I did and harass the dealer parts mgr until he drops the porsche part price to match.
I think plugs/coils/labor was ~$750 all-in but could be closer to $1k depending on your dealer...

I do my plugs and coils annually but I drive the car a lot and do enjoy it on track.
The oem Beru and Bosch are the parts to buy. Changing these is very easy for a diy.
Dealer prices on this service are a bit insane.

Some shameless self-service here:
I have 30 plugs for 997.1 GT3 I would like to sell: Denso 5308 IXU22 Iridium Power Spark Plug, asking $165 + shipping ($20).
That equals just over $6 for each plug.

I have to have this service done on my car soon as well. Can someone confirm this product & these manufacturers are good? Looks like Beru on the coils, Bosch on the plugs.

If you search for Spark Plugs in the 997 GT3 pages, there's a few threads with link to prices, plugs less than $10 each, and DIY pics
I'd stick to Bosch as many have suggested-I'm still at 16K and ill plan to do plugs soon myself-

This link shows that the newer coils are hard to fit on cyl 5(perhaps only on turbo/GT2 engines(?):

Sorry, I may have added confusion to this thread-search for the coils specifically for GT3, and it's the type with one bolt attachment:

Thanks - that's interesting. The Beru part # from AutoHaus is slightly different than the Beru part # in the FCP Euro 6pack, but the FCP Euro fitment shows the 997 gt3. will have to dig more.
