Need a new front lip for my car. I currently have an 997.1 Aerokit lip that I plastidip'd matte black, with the thought that when it gets scratched, I can just add more plastidip.

Well, after only a few months, that is way to big of a hassle. The lip is so low, it scraps on everything, even when careful (as you guys know), so I don't want to have to deal with repainting, etc....

I see several of the Urethane aftermarket versions on Ebay for about $100. Is this a viable option, and if not, what are the best value options?

Oem. And drop the rear ride height a couple of mm so it lifts the front spoiler. Makes a strangely significant difference

yep, its simple physics, even changing my rear camber slightly, visably brings the front up.

anyone tried the aftermarket lips on ebay that are around $100-150?

I have the ebay lip on my car, fit is like 99%. Good enough for me. For $100, I would just buy it and try it out.

The ebay lip that I purchased was unusable junk. My advice - Don't waste your money on one.

I bought a PU (polyurethane) lip on ebay as a replacement. t fit great and was destroyed, cracked torn in only 3 months.

Complete waste of money.

Just bought a 997.1 cup lip for my car. They have fibergalss in them - much more flexible than the stock, .

A good solution is to put door edging on them to keep them from scraping up as much. Like this.
