Porsche North Houston has a black one with just over 20k miles. Just reduced the price to $380k... Might want to start there?

He's looking at that car hard. If it had few difference he'd be all over it. Preference is black/red optioned seats and a late serial.

Please correct me if i'm wrong,
I'm under the impression that Serial # means nothing in terms of sequence off the line - much like the 918's . Serial does NOT equate sequence it rolled off the line ?

Tesla = vin for signature = sequence rolled off the line.
I have #430, which by any-means it's "too late" to be a collectable or too early ?
( kidding i dont GAS , ironically it spells gas)

OP, beggars can't be choosers. You want to pay premium you get what you want. You want to be picking pay the premium. You don't, you get to have compromises.

Your "buddy" either needs to raise his budget or look at a wider offering of cars.

Lol...well it is my buddy. Its surely aint me. If I could afford an RS 4.0 i'd actually spend as much as I was comfortable with to get what I want. I know these cars will be doubled in value before long.

Yep. I think they will take a sharp spike again as soon as Porsche turbos everything.

has anyone studied the improvements of the 4.0's suspension?

is it comparable to set of ohlins road and track although not active damping.

as in .. will a set of tractive coilovers or b16 bilsteins with the dsc be better than a 4.0

I wonder if the car is really that much better over a well setup 997

there is no reason to change 4.0 dampers unless you want to move to better ohline beyond road and track. or MCS two way, JRZ two ways, penske and such.
